A Quality Improvement Organization
TMF Health Quality Institute is a private, nonprofit organization of licensed physicians (MDs and DOs).  Its purpose is to promote, develop, define and encourage the delivery of high quality medical care and health services to the people of Texas and the general public while promoting efficient, cost-effective health care.

TMF Health Quality Institute contracts with federal, state and local governmental entities as well as many private organizations.  It is through these contracts that TMF promotes health care quality improvement and evaluates health care service to ensure that patients'; health care needs are met in Texas as well as across the country.
